Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Tarn Taran Assembly constituency, Harmeet Singh Sandhu, today warmly welcomed Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s initiative of flagging off the first batch of buses under the ‘Chief Minister Tirath Yatra’ scheme. Harmeet Singh Sandhu said that this initiative by the Punjab government will prove to be a blessing for the elderly who have long desired to visit sacred religious sites.

In a statement issued here, Harmeet Singh Sandhu said that this pilgrimage, dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, will further strengthen the spirit of brotherhood among Punjabis.
