It’s not surprising there weren’t any changes at the top of the rankings this week.
None of the top two seeds lost in any of the WPIAL classifications, and the City League is finished until Westinghouse gets back to business next week in the PIAA Class 1A subregional.
There were a couple of moves, though.
North Allegheny, after a couple of bad beats in the last two weeks of the season against Pine-Richland and Seneca Valley, flipped spots with Norwin and moved back up to No. 2 in Class 6A after a 35-17 win against the Knights that locked up the Tigers’ fourth consecutive final appearance.
Upper St. Clair was the big mover after its 36-26 win against Woodland Hills. The Panthers jumped from unranked to No. 4 in Class 5A and will get a tough task in the semifinals against unbeaten Peters
