Eight adults and three children were relocated following a fire in Bridgeport on Sunday morning.
Shortly before 9 a.m., the Bridgeport Fire Department responded to the 700 block of Wood Avenue, according to the Bridgeport Fire Department.
First responders arrived at a second-floor fire that extended to the third floor. The blaze was under control in 30 minutes following a transmission of a second alarm, according to a statement by Deputy Chief Mark J. Cody.
Eleven people were relocated by the American Red Cross, and no injuries were reported. The fire remains under investigation by the Bridgeport Fire Marshal’s Office.
