The City of Valparaiso has announced that for the duration of the federal government shutdown, it has suspended bus fares on the V-Line intracity service for passengers showing proof of SNAP benefits. The city has also suspended utility late fees and shut-offs for delinquent payments for all Valparaiso City Utilities customers until the government shutdown has been resolved.
