PHILADELPHIA – After the Lansdale Catholic football team’s defense came through with a pair of crucial stops to maintain a six-point lead over Bristol, Yeboa Cobbold Jr. finally provided the Crusaders some breathing room.
The senior quarterback slipped away from a tackle attempt, cut right across the field then found his way into the end zone for a 36-yard touchdown with 8:31 remaining in the fourth quarter.
“Just wanted to make a play,” Cobbold Jr. said. “Just wanted to put the game away. And it starts up front, too. If the linemen don’t pull around, linemen did a great job pulling around and they got me in the end zone, so props to our o-line.”
