Following an attempted armed carjacking, Seattle police detectives are investigating after a legally armed victim shot two suspects in Queen Anne this morning.

At about 3:30 a.m., patrol officers responded to a shooting in the 2200 block of 1st Avenue. There, officers found a suspect suffering from multiple gunshot wounds (GSW) and detained him. Police also detained the victim, a licensed gun owner, for questioning and recovered the firearm.

Firefighters responded with police and provided medical aid to the suspect. Medics transported him to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) in serious condition. He remains under armed guard by police.
