Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was made to do ten push-ups as a lighthearted punishment for arriving late at the party’s training camp for district presidents in Madhya Pradesh’s Pachmarhi on Saturday. According to party sources, the Congress camp maintained strict discipline, with symbolic penalties introduced to encourage punctuality among participants.

On Sunday, the Congress Rae Bareilly MP arrived nearly 20 minutes late for the evening session, prompting camp chief Sachin Rao to jokingly remind attendees that latecomers were expected to face a "punishment".

When Rahul Gandhi asked what that meant, Rao said the rule required ten push-ups.
