WASHINGTON — Otsego Junior High School students got a tour of the U.S. Capitol last week from U.S. Rep. Bob Latta (R., Bowling Green).

According to Mr. Latta’s office, members of Congress are still permitted to lead tours themselves during the government shutdown.

Mr. Latta did just that on Thursday while Otsego Junior High students were in Washington on a field trip.

Mr. Latta also has led Capitol tours for Marion Local School, Coldwater Middle School, Fort Recovery Middle School, Antwerp Middle School, Willard High School, Upper Sandusky Middle School, and the Seneca County Honor Bus since the shutdown began Oct. 1.
