PULLMAN, Wash. – The Pullman Cemetery Committee and American Legion are currently raising funds for a new Veterans Memorial Park along Fairmount Drive.

The City of Pullman shared plans for the park on social media, as well as a call for donations from the public.

All contributions will be dedicated to funding a central granite monument to veterans, landscaping, a reflecting pool, bronze statues and educational exhibits.

People can also choose to buy a brick in commemoration of a veteran in their life, all of which will be placed permanently in the park.

“Supporting this meaningful project is a thoughtful way to show your appreciation for our veterans and their families,” the City of Pullman said. “Please consider donating to bring this special park to life for Pullman.”
