It's not quite a must-win game for the Detroit Lions , but it is a potentially season-turning point.
The Lions (5-3, 2nd in NFC North) are facing off against the Washington Commanders (3-6, 3rd in NFC East) on Sunday, Nov. 9 at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. The game is set to kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET and will be televised on Fox.
The Lions are coming off a 27-24 home loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Nov. 2, wasting an opportunity to take the top spot in the division. Additionally, the Lions suffered a crucial injury from guard Christian Mahogany, though the team has made roster moves to help support their offensive line ahead of Sunday's game. The Commanders have suffered an even a bigger loss, however, with starting quarterback Jayden Daniels
