TV and radio star Vernon Kay playfully criticised his wife Tess Daly's Strictly Come Dancing colleagues as "two-faced" after learning what they'd been saying behind his back.

During his BBC Radio 2 show last week, Vernon, 51, revisited a disagreement he'd had with Tess, 56, and their two daughters, Phoebe, 21, and Amber, 16, about a recent purchase he'd made.

The host shared with his listeners that he'd faced "massive guffawing" over his choice when he arrived at the Strictly Come Dancing studios in late October to support his wife, who is leaving the BBC show alongside co-host Claudia Winkleman at the end of this year.
