Five of Louisville women's basketball's new players are set to make their KFC Yum! Center debuts today as the Cardinals host Northern Kentucky .
The No. 19-ranked Cardinals signed three high school players and three more from the transfer portal during the offseason. Laura Ziegler , who posted a double-double of 16 points and 18 rebounds in U of L's season-opening loss to top-ranked UConn , highlights the newcomers. Skylar Jones came off the bench and had 13 points while Reyna Scott totaled nine points, four rebounds and three assists.
Yevheniia Putra was the only true freshman to play against the Huskies and totaled three rebounds and a block in seven minutes. While Grace Mbugua's collegiate debut is delayed due to an injury, Peyton Bradley will likely make her debut
