NYE COUNTY, Nev. (KOLO) - A Silver Alert has been issued for 71-year-old Cheryl Davis after her vehicle was found overturned and unoccupied on Highway 6 between Tonopah and Ely near mile marker 97, about 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, according to the the Nevada system that assists in finding missing seniors 60+ with medical, mental health issues or suspicious circumstances within 72 hours.

Davis’ phone was left in the car and her family has not heard from her, the Saturday, Nov. 8, Facebook post said.

It is believed Davis may have been picked up by another vehicle, the post said.

A Missing Person report has been filed with Inyo County Sheriff’s Office, the post said.

“Please share to help bring her home safely,” the post said.
