MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers kept things short when responding to a demand from President Donald Trump's administration to return money used for FoodShare benefits.

It's the latest counter-punch in the fight between Evers' administration and Trump's over fully funding SNAP, which is known as FoodShare in Wisconsin, for November.

The Trump administration ordered that funds for the program be withheld for this month amid the ongoing federal government shutdown, which has become the longest in history.

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul joined a lawsuit asking a judge to order the Trump administration to release those funds, and on Thursday two federal judges ordered that SNAP be fully funded for November.
