COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football is still the nation’s No. 1 team after its win against Purdue , according to the AP Top 25.
The Buckeyes cruised past the Boilermakers, overcoming an early 3-0 deficit en route to a 34-10 win.
Around the country, other teams struggled , though most avoided upsets in Week 11.
Indiana stayed at No. 2 in the poll after squeezing past Penn State for a 27-24 road win. Texas A&M checked in at No. 3 again after its win at Missouri.
No. 4 Alabama, No. 5 Georgia and No. 6 Ole Miss all stayed put after wins against LSU, Mississippi State and The Citadel, respectively.
While the AP Top 25 is still an important tool in ranking the nation’s top teams, it’s less valuable in November due to the College Football Playoff rankings.
