Miami Gardens, Fla. — The Buffalo Bills reportedly tried to make a trade with the Miami Dolphins this week for Miami Dolphins superstar receiver Jaylen Waddle.
The Bills’ general manager, Brandon Beane, reportedly offered a 1st-round and 3rd-round pick for the speedy pass catcher. The Dolphins ultimately balked at an in-division trade, and Waddle helped beat Buffalo Sunday in a stunning upset. The Dolphins defeated the Bills for the first time since 2022, handing Buffalo its second AFC East loss of the season 30-13.
Waddle beat rookie Max Hairston for the first touchdown of the game in the first quarter. He finished with 84 yards and a touchdown while the Bills passing game struggled. Buffalo tight end Dalton Kincaid left the game with a hamstring injury, making matters worse.
