Since the Baltimore Ravens traded Jaire Alexander to the Philadelphia Eagles, there’s been debate about whether or not he’ll suit up against his former team, the Green Bay Packers, on Monday Night Football. Today, the Eagles finally made the call, officially ruling Alexander out against Green Bay.

Officially, the decision to hold Alexander out has been listed as a knee injury/coach’s decision. Alexander was traded on November 1st, which gave him just a little over a week to get ready for this head-to-head. Last week, the Eagles were on their bye, so this was his first opportunity to wear an Eagles jersey.
