A heartbroken family is seeking justice after their loved one was struck and killed in a South Los Angeles hit-and-run last month, a crash authorities confirmed Sunday.

The collision happened around 3 a.m. on Oct. 12 near 92nd Street and South Broadway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers responded to reports of a motorcycle down and found the rider dead at the scene.

LAPD confirmed that a call for a hit-and-run at that location and date was logged in its system. No information about the suspect vehicle has been released, but the department said additional details will be provided at a later time.
