TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Two people have been charged with DUI after a seven-car crash that killed a Tuscaloosa woman early Sunday morning.

Tuscaloosa Police say 21-year-old Cierra Brena Anthony was a passenger in a car that was rear-ended by another another vehicle around 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 9.

Officials say Anthony and the driver got out of their car to check on the driver of the other vehicle when a second crash occurred, striking the parked car.

Police say the impact pushed the car into Anthony, causing fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.

In total, seven vehicles were involved in the crash, per Tuscaloosa Police. Five drivers or occupants of the seven total cars involved in the crash were taken to DCH Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
