A group of teenagers was taken into custody after a violent robbery inside Towson Town Mall ended with one teen stabbed with a screwdriver, Baltimore County Police said.

Officers from Precinct 6 – Towson responded to the area of Dulaney Valley Road and Fairmount Avenue around 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, following reports of an assault and robbery involving a group of teens.

Investigators determined the attack happened inside the mall, where one of the suspects stabbed another teen during the incident. Police said the victim sustained lacerations from a screwdriver.

Four suspects, all between 14 and 17 years old, were arrested. 

Three were released to their parents, while one was charged as an adult with attempted murder and taken to the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Officers recovered the stolen items at the scene, police said.

The Baltimore County Police Department said it is working with mall security to ensure the parental guidance policy is being followed.
