We know one thing for sure with eight games left in this all-time strange Jets season.

They’re not done fighting.

And Sunday, they capped one of the most head-spinning weeks in franchise history by proving they’re not done winning after shipping away some of their best players at the trade deadline.

The Jets beat the Browns 27-20 on Sunday at MetLife Stadium to win their second straight game. Just five days after trading away two franchise cornerstones – cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Colts and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Cowboys – the Jets found a way to win consecutive games for the first time in since last September, when they improved to 2-1.

The Jets are far from .500 or playoff contention – they’re 2-7 after passing the midway point of the season on Sunday afternoon
