Hundreds of well-wishers ignored brisk temperatures to pay their respects to Kentucky's first female governor on Sunday in Frankfort.

After lying in state at the Old State Capitol rotunda, a public funeral service was held for Martha Layne Collins, who passed away on Nov. 1 at the age of 88.
