SEATTLE – Tyrice Knight and DeMarcus Lawrence sent the Lumen Field crowd into a frenzy with the Seattle Seahawks’ first defensive score of the season.
Then for good measure, they did it again.
Knight forced a pair of strip-sack fumbles and Lawrence returned them both for a pair of stunningly similar defensive scores, helping spark the Seahawks’ 38-point first-half onslaught on Sunday afternoon against the Arizona Cardinals.
Watch: Seahawks put Cardinals in early hole with 2 quick TDs
The first instance came less than six minutes into the game, when Knight raced through Arizona’s offensive line on a blitz and knocked the ball free from backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett. Lawrence grabbed the loose ball off a bounce and returned it for a 34-yard touchdown that gave Seattle an early 14-0
