ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (WLS) -- A Metra police officer was stabbed at a north suburban train station on Sunday, officials said.
Metra said the officer responded to a station in Arlington Heights for a report of a suspicious person in the lot.

When the officer arrived, a female of an unknown age, took out a knife, and a scuffle ensued, Metra said.
Metra said the officer suffered a minor injury to his hand, and he is back on the job.
The person who stabbed him was also injured and was taken to the hospital.
