TAMPA, Fla. – Last weekend, Stefon Diggs caught the 900th pass of his NFL career. The Pro Bowl receiver became the 29th player in league history to accomplish that feat and became one of the fastest players to reach that mark.
Then on Sunday, in Tampa Bay, Diggs surpassed 11,000 receiving yards in his career, becoming the 25th player in NFL history to reach that in 11 seasons or fewer.
Despite all his success, Diggs still spent last week in Foxborough working with special teams coordinator Jeremy Springer. The veteran was working on the Patriots ‘hands team’ and practicing how to recover onside kicks.
That work came in handy. On Sunday, Diggs caught five passes for 46 yards with an important touchdown. He then finished the game by recovering an onside kick with 38 seconds on the clo
