HOUSTON — Bingham High standout Dalton Schultz brought the Texans within striking distance late, snagging his first touchdown catch of the season in week 10.
The score came with 7:29 left in the fourth quarter and cut the Jacksonville lead down to five points.
Throughout the first eight games of the season, Schultz has totaled 38 catches for 385 yards. Despite the solid production, the eighth-year tight end hadn’t reached the end zone.
He ended that drought against the Jaguars and still remained a consistent target in the Houston offense, finishing with seven receptions for 53 yards and the TD.
After trailing 29-10 to start the fourth, the Texans completed the comeback to take a 30-29 lead with 30 seconds left in regulation.
