LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) - The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has located and arrested the suspected driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed 20-year-old University of Kansas student Elsa McGrain.
The extensive investigation included examining evidence and responding to numerous tips from the public.

Kansas officials are attempting to find the suspected driver in a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a 20-year-old University of Kansas student.
At 3:35 a.m. Friday, deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office were alerted to a body found near the road in the 1700 block of E 1500 Road in north Lawrence.
When deputies with the DCSO arrived at the scene, they determined the victim had died. She was identified only as a 20-year-old resident of Lawrence. Aut
