BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Fire Department responded to a structure fire at a vacant home in the City of Buffalo Sunday afternoon.
According to city officials, fire crews responded to a fire at 960 Sycamore Street, shortly past noon on Sunday.

When firefighters arrived, the fire had spread from the first floor to the second floor. The fire was brought under control shortly after crews arrived.
Damages to the structure are estimated at $50,000. No contents to the property were lost due to the vacant status of the property.
No injuries have been reported, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
