LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Louisville mayor Craig Greenberg says that 14 people have been killed in the plane crash that occurred in the city on Tuesday, with the death toll no longer expected to climb any higher.
The crash occurred around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, and caused a massive fire with smoke plumes that could be seen for over a half mile. Advertisement
The death toll was initially pegged at least seven, but rose throughout the week as more people were confirmed to have been killed in the wreck. On Friday, Greenberg confirmed that the death total reached 14 , with numerous others also injured in the incident.
