WASHINGTON — The government shutdown may be about to end.
CNN reports that eight moderate Democrats have reached a deal with the Trump Administration and Senate GOP brass to reopen the government.
In return, Republicans would promise to hold a vote on extending enhanced Affordable Care subsidies, CNN reports.
The rest of the Democratic Party is against the deal, CNN reports. That's because there's no guarantee from Republicans on extending the health care subsidies — just a vote. And there's no guarantee it all that House Speaker Johnson will even let it come up for a vote.
