SAN FRANCISCO -- Pacers veteran point guard T.J. McConnell will miss Sunday's game against the Warriors but he is making progress and "ramping up" toward a return, Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said in his pregame news conference Sunday.
McConnell strained his hamstring on Oct. 7 in the Pacers' first preseason game against the Timberwolves. Carlisle said two days later that McConnell would be out at least a month and to hold off on any questions about progress until then.
