OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) -- A man who escaped an Evangeline Parish jail has been found and taken into custody in St. Landry Parish.
Braylon Johnson, 25, previously arrested for domestic abuse, aggravated battery and child endangerment was arrested by the Opelousas Police Department earlier today.
Johnson had been wanted for several months after escaping a jail in Evangeline Parish back in August.
According to authorities, they were notified that Johnson had been spotted at a gas station within the city limits of Opelousas. Police arrived and spotted Johnson in the parking lot of the gas station.
