Unlawful drone activity raises conservation fears

At a time when the State is grappling with rising incidents of human–wildlife conflict and unregulated tourism within protected areas, concerns have emerged over illegal drone operations in the Kali Tiger Reserve. A wildlife conservationist has submitted a written complaint to the Kali Tiger Reserve administration regarding the unauthorised use of drones in and around the Shivpur Hanging Bridge area, inside the Reserve.

The complainant noted that videos and photographs captured using these drones have been uploaded to social media platforms, showing clear evidence of drone activity within this ecologically sensitive and secur
