CLEVELAND, Ohio — Wet, heavy snow is expected overnight in Northeast Ohio and it could cause issues for drivers Monday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Geauga and Lake counties, effective until 1 p.m. Tuesday. Forecasters say some areas could have 3 to 5 inches of snow on the ground by the time the storm ends.
It’s a revision of earlier forecasts , which had predicted up to 10 inches were possible. Higher elevations might see larger amounts of snow.
An advisory is in effect in Summit, Portage and Trumbull counties until 10 p.m. Tuesday. Two to 4 inches are possible. An advisory is in effect in Lorain and Medina counties until 1 p.m. Tuesday, with up to 4 inches of snow in the forecast.
