COLUMBIA, S.C. — Authorities are investigating a case of vandalism at a newly renovated Columbia park.
A spokesperson for the Columbia Police Department said someone spraypainted the roof section of a building at Finlay Park late Saturday night. The graffiti has since been cleaned up, but authorities are still searching for the person or people responsible for the incident.
The vandalism comes just days before Columbia holds its official grand reopening of Finlay Park, scheduled for Nov. 15 and 16, with the Jam Room Music and Day Two festivals held there over the weekend.
