Manasbal, Nov 09: To celebrate the onset of autumn, a day long cultural extravaganza was held by Wullar Manasbal Development Authority(WMDA) in collaboration with a local cultural group, Manasbal Dramatics.

According to a statement issued here, the event was supported by J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages and Department of Information.

Artist groups from adjoining areas mesmerised the audience with their soulful renditions.

A special feature of the cultural event was the staging of play Nou Chapraes written by Saleem Yousuf depicting the current issues in the society which received applause from the audience. On the occasion, a collection of short stories-Rafaqat by writer Rasheed Gangeen was also released.
