Palhallan, Nov 9: In a commendable effort to promote hygiene and environmental awareness, a large-scale cleanliness drive was conducted in Yadipora Palhallan village on Sunday.

The initiative was jointly organised by local Village Development Committee (VDC) and Rural Development Department, under the supervision of Secretary Panchayat, Palhallan D, Dharmveer Singh.

The campaign was aimed at cleaning the Village Canal and nearby areas that had been choked with garbage, cow dung, and other waste material. The problem had been persisting for months, causing inconvenience to the residents and posing a serious health hazard.
