Minimum temperature continued to fall across Odisha, with Bhubaneswar recording a significant drop in recent days. The state capital has witnessed a fall of 4.6 degrees Celsius over the past four days. As per records at 5:30 a.m., Bhubaneswar’s temperature stood at 16.2 degrees Celsius, compared to 20.8 degrees Celsius on November 7.
Light winter conditions have begun to be felt in interior regions such as Koraput, Sundargarh, and Kandhamal. The Meteorological Centre stated that dry and cold winds entering the state from the north-west have led to a 2 to 3-degree Celsius drop in both day and night temperatures across several districts. In Daringbadi, Phulbani, and Jharsuguda, temperatures have fallen below 15 degrees Celsius.
