PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two motorcyclists are seriously hurt after a crash in west Phoenix on Sunday night.

Around 8:15 p.m., Glendale and Phoenix fire crews responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a car near 51st Avenue and Thunderbird Road .

Fire crews say four people were involved in the crash. A man and a woman, who were on the motorcycle, were taken to the hospital in critical condition.

First responders evaluated another woman and a child, but neither was hospitalized.

The intersection is currently closed while officers investigate what led to the crash.
