AUSTINTOWN — 9 a.m. at Austintown Fitch High School auditorium with guest speaker, U.S. Army veteran and Congressional Medal of Honor winner Kenneth David of Girard.

BOARDMAN — Glenwood Junior High will host its traditional Veterans Day Assembly — one of the district’s largest events — by welcoming more than 50 veterans from all branches of the military. The program includes the solemn White Table Ceremony, as well as guest speakers, Youngstown State University President Bill Johnson and Mahoning County Prosecutor Lynn Maro. Video messages from Gov. Mike DeWine and U.S. Sen. Jon Husted, R-Ohio, made specifically for the students, also will be shared. The veterans will enjoy refreshments with students following the ceremony.
