Jacoby Brissett did not take kindly to being called a “knockoff Geno Smith” ahead of the Cardinals’ loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.
Brissett has been playing very well, starting in place of an injured Kyler Murray, but was on the wrong end of a 22-44 loss away from home on the day, with his completion matching the scoreline as he went 22-of-44 for 258 passing yards and two touchdowns.
The QB and his teammates were heckled by a Seahawks fan while waiting to go out on the field ahead of the game. The fan called him out by the phrase noted above, drawing a disgusted look from the 32-year-old.
