HEBRON, Ky. —

On Sunday, U.S. airlines canceled roughly 2,000 flights amid ongoing Federal Aviation Administration cutbacks.

"It's, like, uncertainty and anxiety and, you know, when you have a trip booked, you just want to get where you're going or get home. So it's not a great feeling — not knowing if you're going to make it home or not," said Washington, D.C., resident, Tyler Gamaitoni.

CVG is among the 40 airports affected by the FAA flight cuts.
