As Delhi-NCR is grappling with thick smog due to a ‘very poor’ Air Quality Index (AQI) across several parts of the city. In some places, the air quality has become terrible, reaching the ‘severe’ level. People there are suffering from serious breathing problems.

Breathing the air in areas with a ‘very poor’ AQI is like smoking 6 to 10 cigarettes a day. In places where the AQI is in the ‘severe’ range, it’s like smoking 16 to 20 cigarettes a day.
