Section 144 has been imposed across the province, announced a notification issued by the Balochistan Home Department.

The order, imposed through an amendment to an earlier notification issued on November 5, will remain in effect until November 30, 2025.

Gatherings or sit-ins consisting of five or more people have been prohibited. Face coverings that prevent identification, including masks, mufflers, or veils, have also been restricted

The order has banned pillion riding on motorcycles, but has exempted elderly people, women, and children from this prohibition.

Further, the use of unregistered motorcycles, tinted windows on vehicles, and the carrying or brandishing of weapons has also been banned.

Violations of the order will be dealt with under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code,
