A person died after a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Reno’s Montreux area, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office said.
About 12:20 p.m., deputies, along with Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue and REMSA, responded to the area of Snow Berry and Evergreen Hills drives.
The driver and sole occupant was taken to a local hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. Impairment is not believed to be a factor, authorities said.
The person’s identity will be released after next of kin are notified.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office nonemergency line at 775-785-9276, referencing case WC25-5641.
