Ahmedabad/Delhi/Lucknow, Nov 10: A doctor arrested among three ISIS operatives by the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) was allegedly preparing ricin — a highly toxic protein — and had conducted reconnaissance of crowded food markets and other public sites across three cities, officials said on Monday. The doctor reportedly surveyed Delhi’s Azadpur Mandi, Ahmedabad’s Naroda fruit market and the RSS office in Lucknow over the past six months, identifying densely crowded locations as potential targets.
