JONESBORO — Students across campus at Arkansas State University have different methods of getting to classes. Some walk, others use a bicycle, and some use a scooter. Unlike the first two options, scooters require charging. To make that easier and safer for students, the university team has added 10 new solar chargers to campus this week.

“The university recognized a large uptick in the use of electric scooters on campus,” said Melissa Dooley, director of the Department of Environmental, Health and Safety. “With that also came an uptick in referrals to student conduct when these devices were found in residential spaces to be charged.” kAms@@=6J D2:5 p\$E2E6 AC@9:3:ED 492C8:?8 @C DE@C:?8 6=64EC:4 D4@@E6CD :?D:56]k^Am kAm“q642FD6 @7 E96:C AC@A6?D:EJ E@ 42E49 7:C6[ 6=64EC:4 D4@@E6CD 2C6 ?
