SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane saw a great turnout as hundreds of participants laced up their running shoes for the annual "Race to Feed Our Veterans" 5K.

This event took place Sunday morning at Fairmont Memorial Park and Greenwood Memorial Terrace.

Hosted by Meals on Wheels Spokane and Fairmont Memorial Association, the event welcomed runners, walkers and even four-legged friends.

The scenic course was designed to raise funds for providing meals to veteran clients in need throughout the Spokane area.
