IRON MOUNTAIN — The monthly meeting of the Northwoods Philatelic Society stamp club is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Fellowship Room of First Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain. The church is located between Domino’s Pizza and Slumberland Furniture.

A short business meeting and educational program will be followed by the usual informal stamp club auction. Members are encouraged to bring up to five lots for the auction, and the club will also auction lots of recently acquired stamps.

The club is comprised of members from both Michigan and Wisconsin and is open to students as well as adults. They promote the fun and fellowship of stamp collecting. Collectors range from very new to sophisticated. Membership is free; the only requirement is the desire t
