Hailakandi: Hailakandi Railway Station passengers using the platform's services continue to face severe inconvenience due to the lack of basic amenities such as public toilets, drinking water facilities, waiting rooms, and display boards. The situation remains unchanged, causing frustration among daily commuters and long-distance travellers alike. With three major long-distance trains from Mizoram now passing through Hailakandi district, the number of passengers using the station has increased significantly. The infrastructure at the station has not kept pace with the growing demand.
